Setting up Overlays
Here we explain how to setup Overlays that work for you.
SteelSeries GG Setup (Supports Fullscreen)
Download and Install:
Download and install the application
Configure Settings:
Open SteelSeries GG
Go to
GENERAL→GeneralsectionEnable
Sonar
Set Required Shortcut:
Navigate to
SONAR→ShortcutstabFind "Master - Volume Up"
Set it to
F7keyThis bind must be pressed before injection
For AMD Users
SteelSeries GG is your only supported overlay option. Make sure to complete all steps above before proceeding.
GeForce Experience Setup (No Fullscreen Support)
Download and Install:
Download and install the application
Enable Overlay:
Open GeForce Experience
Go to
SettingsNavigate to
GeneralEnable
IN-GAME OVERLAY
NVIDIA Users Note
While you can use either overlay, GeForce Experience doesn't support fullscreen mode. Consider using SteelSeries GG for better compatibility.
Pre-Launch Checklist
For NVIDIA Graphics Cards
You have two options:
Option A - GeForce Experience:
Ensure IN-GAME OVERLAY is enabled
Note: No fullscreen support
Option B - SteelSeries GG:
Ensure Sonar is enabled
Verify F7 shortcut is set
Supports fullscreen
For AMD Graphics Cards
Must Use SteelSeries GG:
Install SteelSeries GG
Enable Sonar
Set F7 shortcut
Press F7 before injection
Troubleshooting
SteelSeries GG Issues
Sonar Not Working:
Verify Sonar is enabled in General settings
Check if F7 shortcut is properly set
Restart SteelSeries GG
Overlay Not Appearing:
Press F7 key before injection
Ensure no conflicts with other overlay software
GeForce Experience Issues
Overlay Not Working:
Verify IN-GAME OVERLAY is enabled
Update GeForce Experience
Update NVIDIA drivers
Fullscreen Issues:
Switch to windowed or borderless mode
Consider using SteelSeries GG instead
